The art institute colleges are good! They require like a 3.0 average though

I say start drawing... Why have someone teach you something you can teach yourself. Art is not something someone can teach you, you must have it in you.

OBSERVE, SKETCH, EXPERIMENT, GET FREE TRIAL FOR FLASH AND HAVE A BALL!

i say follow josilver's advice. he's right. i'm completely self-taught in art and animation. if its something you love doing, you dont need anyone to teach you to do it, you have your own motivation.

that said, I've heard SUNY Fredonia has a pretty good animation program.

Right....agreeing with JoSilver, i am self taught but something he probably doesn't get is a college degree looks good on a resimey(spelling? Spell checker can't figure out what i mean but just sound it out)....Try the art institute, they have mostly what you need, not sure if they are nearby new Hampshire, or just go to a community college, some of them have art classes you can attend.

I agree with all of these guys, you can teach yourself in art. But getting a college degree will help you get that much closer to a job in animation. I'm a senior too and I'm going to Arts institute of Minneapolis, MN. I believe there are some schools in your area, but I'm not sure...
